Walnut Office Set | 2021
This is a custom set of office furniture ready for my creative client. Tired of her Ikea set-up, she asked for a substantially stronger (and better looking) desk and storage system. When we spoke about different materials and colors, we selected solid walnut and a lovely green to reflect her love for the outdoors.
I designed the TIG welded steel frames with 1” square tubing for strength and offset 3/4” square tubing to make the piece dynamic. The steel is finished in Montana Black “Celtic." The desk table top has intense graining, perfect for stoking my client’s creativity. The grain-wrapped cabinet has a drawer for closed storage and a cubby large enough to store books.
