This coffee table was a personal project, designed and built towards the end of my internship and residency at Carlysle Studio in Sacramento. Influenced by a fussy mid-century coffee table and Carlysle’s modernist pieces, the coffee table features a TIG welded steel frame that supports a solid maple top and floating shelf. The frame is painted with Montana Black “Baby Blue” and the maple is finished with Rubio Monocoat “White.”
